Arranging appointments isn't always easy. Whether it's a business meeting or simply catching up with a friend for lunch, finding the right time for you both is often tricky. It gets all the more complicated when a number of you want to meet up. WAVE Scheduler aims to simplify the entire process and is a pretty good way to do precisely that.
The idea is that you create a new appointment, then suggest a few relevant times that would work for you. You send an invite to the other person via your contact details or their email address, then wait to hear back with some dates and times that work for them. Did they pick a good time? Hit the confirm button and you're all set up. WAVE Scheduler even adds the invite to your calendar, so everything is set up neatly.
It works pretty well, too. It's easy to set up a date and time with a sliding motion used to dictate the perfect times. When dealing with just one person it's pretty straightforward to see what works for you both, but that convenience continues with multiple participants. WAVE Scheduler collates the various responses then recommends the best time for everyone, and it's quite accurate, too.
WAVE Scheduler works around your pre-existing appointments, so you should be free of clashes while also feeling in control of your life. Think of it as a kind of personal assistant and you're not far off. While some concerns might be there initially when it comes to where all your calendar and location data goes, WAVE Scheduler has a fairly tied up privacy policy and nothing gets sent anywhere you don't want it to.
Given it's a free app, it's hard to say why you wouldn't find a purpose or two for downloading WAVE Scheduler, even if you don't have plenty of business meetings to arrange. Just organizing a get together amongst friends can be much simpler by using it. It's that convenient.
