Stacks 2 is a simple and straightforward currency conversion app. Tapping into the benefits that iOS 8 has brought us, it's sure to make things easier for those who regularly need to check conversion rates.

Dive in and Stacks 2 immediately looks like a regular calculator app. The difference here is that you enter one figure and Stacks 2 spits out the result in a different currency. The app covers over 160 different currencies so there's little risk of not being able to find your desired denomination. A quick swipe upwards refreshes the data too, so it's easily kept up to date.

Alongside the calculation side of things, Stacks 2 continues to offer useful features. It's possible to check how the currency rate has fared in the past 100 days via a graph feature, giving some insight into the financial climate of the world. Perhaps most useful of all, however, are the widgets you can install to your notification center. It makes it so much easier to convert or simply check denominations, without any need to open up a separate app. There's a Safari extension too, which proves similarly convenient while shopping online.

Throughout the whole experience, Stacks 2 is intuitive – making it simple to enter new data, refresh, or start all over again. The only thing that made me stop to think for a moment was how to copy or email results. A simple matter of holding a finger to the figure though, and that's easily solved.

Consistently easy to use and saving you plenty of time, Stacks 2 is easily the best currency conversion app out there at the moment. For those of us who regularly have to switch between different countries, it's a fine solution to a common problem.
