My First Museum

A lot or a little?

Parents need to know that My First Museum offers fun facts, background stories, and general information about some of the most well-recognized paintings. Kids can visit the Louvre, The National Gallery, and The Metropolitan Museum of Art to learn about some of the classic masterpieces housed there such as van Gogh's The Starry Night, da Vinci's Mona Lisa, and Vermeer's The Girl with a Pearl Earring. Kids can listen to an audio track or read along with the text. My First Museum includes one painting with the free download. You can buy the premium version with an in-app purchase to unlock the rest. There's only Western European art, so the collection doesn't represent other cultures. Among the paintings, there's a depiction of a bare-breasted woman, a mention of suicide, and a battlefield scene.
