A lot or a little?
Parents need to know that Colossill Gram is a social media platform modeled after Instagram, where users can share information, images, and videos. It is intended for use by Black communities and was built to avoid perceived censorship by other mainstream platforms. The in-app Terms of Service/Privacy Policy state that users under the age of 18 require parental supervision and also specify that the service is not intended for those under the age of 13. Like other social media apps, Colossill Gram consists entirely of user generated content which may contain suggestive images/language, mature language, violent images/language, and use/suggested use of alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs. Product placements are common and kids may be able to purchase these items via a link in the user's bio page. Colossill Gram claims to show posts only from other users within 10 miles which would suggest the use of location services, but we did not experience this during our use and were not asked to grant location permissions during installation. The online Privacy Policy was not available at the time of review.
