Seasonality Go isn't going to win any prizes for its looks. It looks like an app from a few years ago, before we'd all switched to a cleaner look thanks to iOS 7 and 8. While it might not look stunning, it easily succeeds when it comes to actual content.

Some days, what the weather is doing isn't a big deal. Other days though, it makes all the difference. I'm not usually too interested other than because of curiosity, but I regularly go out to sea in 5 man rowing boats. Knowing what to expect weather wise suddenly becomes essential for safety. Seasonality Go covers a lot of information and quickly.

weather2weather4Divided up into various sections, you can check out what's going on right this second. That includes temperature details, ‘feels like’ conditions, atmospheric pressure, how calm it is, humidity, and even how long the daylight will last. Elsewhere is a forecast section, giving a brief heads-up on what's coming. More interestingly, for those located in the US, Canada, and Australia, you can look at an animated map and see how weather fronts move and how that's going to affect you. Seasonality Go rounds things off by providing a graphs section, detailing how things are going to change throughout the day.

In each case, it's not particularly beautiful to look at by any means, but it is practical. You can easily share such content with other people, proving useful when planning something outdoors. Seasonality Go is quick to browse too, while getting the information across.

It's a little expensive for a conventional weather app, but for one that provides so much information it makes some sense. For those who also own an iPad, its universal capabilities along with extra options for the iPad should make this a more tempting purchase. It certainly has its uses.
