Parents need to know that Disney Princess Palace Pets is a free app that includes the pets of six of the Disney Princesses: Cinderella's dog Pumpkin, Aurora's cat Beauty, Belle's dog Teacup, Ariel's cat Treasure, Snow White's bunny Berry, and Rapunzel's horse Blondie. Sultan (Jasmine's tiger), Petit (Belle's horse), Lily (Tiana's cat), and Summer (Rapunzel's cat) require an in-app purchase to wake them up. It's a big app, taking up far more than 500 MB of storage, and kids can snap pictures of each pet and her princess very easily from within the app, quickly filling up a camera roll (with no option in the settings to turn it off). Note that in 2017, this app (among others) was named in a class action lawsuit alleging that it violates COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act) and collects data about users.
