Parents need to know that Dr. Panda's Swimming Pool is a totally toddler- and preschool-friendly play environment, similar to the other Dr. Panda apps. There's no wrong way to play. Kids just explore, moving the cartoon animals into different situations and discovering what happens. Kids can move between different scenes, each a water-themed swimming environment. A variety of languages are available in the app, though the focus of the app isn't language.What kids can learn
The familiar fun of swimming will engage kids, especially taking an active role in something they don't yet get to do fully on their own.
Kids learn through play, trying out roles, making up stories, and taking risks trying new things in a safe environment.
No reading is required, and toddlers can play totally independently.
What's it about?
The fun at DR. PANDA'S SWIMMING POOL starts in the dressing room where kids choose a swim suit for each animal character. They can use the toilet, take a shower, blow dry their hair, and towel off. From there, they can go to three different swimming areas by choosing one from the map: There is an inflatable pool, a boat, and an indoor pool. Once they choose a location, kids can move the characters around, fix snacks and feed them, and have them swim and play with toys.
Is it any good?
Dr. Panda's Swimming Pool is another Dr. Panda hit for the youngest app users, bringing open-ended imaginative play to the tablet. Since there are no objectives, kids are free to explore and play, just as they would with non-digital toys. Kids can change between characters throughout play, and the objects move realistically, falling onto the ground or floating in the pool.
