Parents need to know that Laz Level A Library is an app related to Reading A-Z, an online subscription reading program. Level A is geared to preschool and kindergarten, but there is an app for each level, through Level Z. The app includes 12 books with simple designs and advanced questioning techniques to help introduce kids to early critical thinking skills and reading comprehension. There is limited functionality: There's no option to highlight words or play audio, and once you start a book, there's no easy way to return to the book selection page.What kids can learn

Each page that has underlined words can be tapped to flip over and show visual images and definitions of the words in the story. Each story ends with questions that promote comprehension, critical thinking, making predications, and differentiating between facts and opinions.

Is it any good?
LAZ Level A Library has some good features, but is essentially outdated. The app lacks options or settings, and the navigation can be frustrating. The biggest advantage of LAZ Level A Library is that there are multiple books in one place, and they are all at about the same reading level. However, for the price tag, you should explore other options that will be more likely to get your kid excited about reading.
