Parents need to know that LearnMe Calendar is a basic calendar app to help kids understand the days of the week and months of the year. The app is also helpful for kids who struggle with executive functioning skills as kids can add dates of homework or tests right in the calendar. Is it any good?
The goals of the games are to learn months, days, seasons, and holidays, but since it hasn't been updated in a few years, the holiday dates for the current year are off. Dragging static holiday dates, like New Year's Day, onto the calendar results in a "wrong" answer message. Also, the drag-and-drop functionality is glitchy and awkward. The simple interface and games may appeal to some kids and work better for those who are distracted by fancy graphics and animations, but most kids won't be enticed and might be frustrated.
