Parents need to know that Happy Clinic is a time management simulation for iOS and Android devices. Kids have a lot of freedom to decide what to do next and may be able to learn from their mistakes by redoing a level. They also get rewards for persistently finishing levels and meeting certain benchmarks -- although the amount may not be enough to allow them to keep playing without buying anything. The game is free, and it doesn't bombard kids with ads. But they'll fairly quickly reach a point where it's very challenging to keep going without spending money. They can use gems they've earned to buy coins or extra playing time if they run out of lives, but they may not have enough for either option. They can also buy more gems and coins, the other type of currency that's used in the game, for $2.99 to $69.99.
