A lot or a little?
Parents need to know that Sporcle Party is an online trivia contest for iOS and Android devices. While it's safe for all ages, only teenagers and older players will get -- or even appreciate -- many of the questions. It has no inappropriate content, and will even completely censor text messages between players to eliminate profanity. The game also has you wager on the outcome of each round, though all you're wagering are points, and these points can't be redeemed for anything. While the game comes with three categories of questions -- sports, movies, geography -- and there are free packs given to players for a limited time, additional collections of questions can be purchased with real money ranging from $0.99 to $1.99. There are also numerous static ads throughout the game, including when you're playing, waiting for the final standings, and on the menus. Not surprisingly, an ad-free option is available for $2.99. Read the developer's privacy policy for details on how your (or your kids') information is collected, used, and shared, and any choices you may have in the matter, and note that privacy policies and terms of service frequently change.
