A lot or a little?
Parents need to know that Clue: The Classic Mystery Game is a digital remake of the favorite childhood whodunnit game for iOS and Android devices. As such, the overall theme is dark (you are solving a murder, after all) and kids will be contemplating a series of murder weapons used to kill people as they play, although nothing's shown. Players under the age of 13 are encouraged to get parental approval to play, although that merely requires answering a simply math problem. The game offers in-app purchases for additional characters ($2.99 each), boards ($3.99 each), theme packs of a board and six characters ($6.99 each), or a complete content unlock for $35.99. Parents can expect pressure to buy these as they do look like fun. In addition, most of the characters of color are only available for purchase. The game has a single player mode (against AI), online against strangers, and online with friends. There's no chat option for online play, but players can create/edit their own user names so questionable content may appear. Read the developer's privacy policy for details on how your (or your kids') information is collected, used, and shared and any choices you may have in the matter, and note that privacy policies and terms of service frequently change.
