Parents need to know that Kids' Vocab - Mindsnacks is a word app that helps kids expand their vocabulary, first via a lesson format and then being reinforced with two mini-games. The app includes 25 lessons and nine games. There's also a "Learn a Word a Day" feature, if you allow push notifications for this app on your device. For the vocabulary lessons, words are listed by groups of related words. Kids can view the word, an image of the object the word describes, the definition, and the word used in a sentence, as well as hear the correct pronunciation.
