A lot or a little?
Parents need to know that Leo's Pad Enrichment Program for Preschoolers is an animated story app developed by education experts at Stanford University that uses a series of interactive "appisodes" for preschoolers to help them learn concepts such as creativity and love of learning, alongside skills and concepts such as measurement and magnitude. Currently, there are six appisodes plus a finale and interactive games (one- and two-player games) that include notable historic figures as young children, such as Marie Curie, Leonardo DaVinci, and Galileo. There are also topic-specific songs and a companion parent's app called Learner Mosaic, which tracks the progress of each kid's play, explains the skills and ideas they are developing during play, and gives suggestions for on- and offscreen enrichment activities. Be aware that the initial download size is reasonable, but as parents start downloading all the appisodes, the app starts to take up a lot of storage. After the free story, parents can register with an email address and the child's username, birth month and year, and gender. To find out more about the types of information collected and shared, read the app's privacy policy.
