Parents need to know that Look, I'm making it up! is an interactive storybook that explores different ways kids can improvise and be creative. Camilo is a boy who likes to do things his own way, and though the concept of improvisation is introduced in a musical setting, the book explores a handful of ways Camilo improvises in other areas as well. Each page has text at the bottom of the screen that a narrator reads out loud. There's no read-on-my-own option. All pages include interactive elements though it's not always clear what those elements are. There are also three games embedded within the story. In one game (dress up) shows Camilo only has underwear on until kids choose clothing for him.
