A lot or a little?
Parents need to know that Line Puzzle: String Art encourages kids to manipulate lines in order to create shapes that match the given design appearing at the top of the screen. Though the puzzles are fun, the ads in the free version are too frequent and overwhelming to make this app a solid choice for kids -- unless you spring for the ad-free version. In terms of gameplay, kids will be presented with shapes and designs that they'll have to recreate by dragging and connecting lines to different points. Users will experience a brief tutorial upon launching the app, which explains how to play. At first, the puzzles and shapes are relatively simple, but the puzzles become more complex, integrating multiple lines, and requiring more moves. Hints, activated by tapping the green lightbulb button, are available to help kids if they get stuck.
