PewDiePie: Legend of the Brofist gallery
What parents need to know
Parents need to know that PewDiePie: Legend of the Brofist was created by YouTuber Felix Arvid Ulf Kjellberg -- also known as PewDiePie -- who ends his real-time game commentary with a fist bump at the screen. The side-scrolling game starts with PewDiePie ending one of his YouTube broadcasts and then encountering an evil barrel that wants to contain him and his bros. PewDiePie has to collect his friends and coins as he evades the barrels. The game begins with an intro that includes some crude humor about making bread with your butt, and, just as in the YouTube videos, kids may encounter some rough language. Character deaths are unnecessarily graphic and bloody, with players being pulled apart. The app connects to Game Center, but the developer has no privacy policy in place, so there's no way to know the types of information collected and shared, though the game doesn't ask for personal information when a user starts to play.
