Parents need to know that Crossy Road - Endless Arcade Hopper is a simple arcade game in which you help a chicken or other characters cross the road, much like Frogger from days past. Characters can be squished by cars, drowned, or attacked by eagles, but it's all done in a very cartoony way, without blood. While this is a free game, there are nearly 90 characters to buy (all of whom play the same), and though you'll get some as gifts, you usually have to buy them using real money or in-game currency you get by picking up coins, getting money as gifts for playing, or by watching optional in-game advertisements. It's also possible to share "fail" pictures (your character getting killed) or video of game play via Twitter or email, though it's not required to play. The same game also goes by the shorter title Crossy Road in various app stores.
