GoGoGames! Audio Adventures

A lot or a little?

Parents need to know that GoGoGames! Audio Adventures is a collection of interactive audio stories. Throughout the stories, kids are encouraged to move around their environment, exercise, investigate, and do chores or simple cooking projects. If kids follow the instructions in the story, they'll be active and running around, so they'll need to be able to do that safely -- and while still listening to a device. Stories range in length from about 5 to about 20 minutes long. Some stories require additional equipment commonly found around the house, such as a bed or food items for constructing a silly snack. Other stories require more than one player and multiple devices and/or ear pods, though at the time of this review, technical issues prevented these kinds of stories from playing. Note that upon opening the app, kids are instructed to turn the volume way up. But be aware that if kids use headphones, the audio is dangerously loud. Kids will do better to start low and turn up the volume if necessary. At the time of this review, the app's content is fully available with the free download, though it seems like the developer plans to move it to a subscription-based service at some point.
