Simple to look at yet also somewhat attractive and practical comes Weather or Not, a weather reporting app that should offer everything you need when it comes to knowing what to expect in the coming days.

The main display for Weather or Not comes via a graph. That graph displays an hour-by-hour study of what's coming up. An icon suggests the kind of weather to expect, such as sun or cloud, while a series of lines dictate temperature and the chance of rain. It's simply done but ensures that all the key information is immediately accessible. As well as that, in a larger font size, the temperature at the moment along with highs and lows, is also indicated. Being able to skim through things by the hour is the advantage here, as you can see how things develop.

weather3weather1That's not all that Weather or Not offers, however. It can tie into your calendar events, giving you a heads up of what the weather is going to be like depending on the time and location of your appointment. There's a widget for iOS 8's Notification Center too, meaning you don't have to dive into the app to see what the weather's going to be like. It can also give you daily notifications so you know exactly what's going on at all times.

In each case, they are relatively small things that add up to be a very useful package. As someone who often partakes in outdoor sports and needs to know what to expect, Weather or Not is a handy tool to do precisely that. Tying into the features that iOS 8 offers as well as the visual style is simply the icing on the cake.
