Art Stories CITIES

A lot or a little?

Parents need to know that Art Stories Cities invites kids to visit different cities around the world, see some major landmarks, and learn a bit more about the culture or daily life. The narrators are British and one of them has an accent that is strong enough that some kids might have trouble understanding it, especially since they are talking about buildings and historical figures with unfamiliar names. Moreover, for kids in the United States, the pronunciations of some words/name is different (Zeus, for example, is pronounced Zee-us, rather than a familiar Zoos). Although this looks like an experience for young kids, the educational content is most on-target for older elementary school kids and tweens. There's a link to the publisher's other apps from the main screen, as well as the chance to subscribe to their newsletter which are protected by a year-of-birth parent gate.
