It's usually cookery apps that make me hungry, but this time around it's a game. That game being Papa’s Pizzeria To Go!, a title in which you run a pizzeria and have to keep your customers happy. It's a fairly typical Time Management game, but one that's quite entertaining for the most part.

pizza2Papa’s Pizzeria To Go! is divided up into various steps in the pizza making process. First of all, you take the order from a customer. This order isn't just a matter of 'margarita please'; these customers are demanding. Often, they'll want things divided up carefully. For instance, pepperoni on one half while peppers are on the other. Sometimes, they'll want something absurd like 6 pieces of sausage on one quarter and nothing anywhere else. They're just as demanding with how it's baked and cut too, with the latter often being affected by how you've placed the toppings.

Each step is easy to do, though. Placing the toppings is a matter of tapping in the relevant places, while baking involves waiting for the cooking time to reach a certain point before swiping the pizza onto the cutting screen. Cutting involves drawing a line to determine where the pizza is cut.

pizza4The key to success is multitasking, as throughout that process other orders are coming in. You'll soon get the hang of things though, which is good as you're rated according to speed, efficiency, and accuracy. Such ratings determine the tips you receive, which can then be used to buy new upgrades to further improve the process.

While often quite frantic, Papa’s Pizzeria To Go! is good natured fun and each level is just the right length for mobile play. There are in-app purchases if you really want to go into that, but you can easily enjoy the experience without having to worry about that side of things. Don't be surprised when you end up craving pizza, however.
