Parents need to know that The Blockheads is a simulation game for iOS and Android devices. Kids can play in solo or multiplayer mode. In solo mode, kids explore their virtual world, gathering materials and workbenches to create structures and farms. They may encounter animals, some of which are aggressive, but no blood or gore's shown during conflicts. In multiplayer mode, kids can join online servers to play with other gamers. Players attack one another to survive, and joining servers opens the door to potentially inappropriate content, depending on who hosts the server and who joins. Kids can host their own worlds, and there's a private setting that gives the user control over who joins. Lots of unnecessary (but fun) in-app purchases are offered.
